The
Class of 1972 celebrated its 4Oth year since graduation with an event
filled weekend July 27-29, 2012.
Friday Night Mixer: July 27th, 6 p.m. start
Dinner - Music –
Dancing – Nostalgia - Old and New Friends
Over 150 classmates and guests enjoyed a
no-host Friday night mixer with complimentary appetizers at Buster’s Beach
House on Alamitos Bay. Two hundred
thirty attendees celebrated at the reunion main event on Saturday at the
Long Beach Yacht Club, and on Sunday morning we gathered in the quad at Wilson
High School Wilson.
Some members from our class were in the video, which delighted the viewers!
For
those of you who attended any or all of the events, we hope that you had as
wonderful a weekend as we did! For all
attendees and for those of you who were not able to be there, photos can be

An array of
delectable food choices were available at various food stations - turkey and beef entrees, various salads, pasta dishes and desserts to
fit many types of food preferences. Coffee, iced tea and
water were included. Soft drinks and alcohol were
available for purchase at the no-host bars on the
large deck overlooking Alamitos Bay.
The Wilson High mascots, Woody and Wilma, joined us and we had video displays and lots of memorabilia.

The Reunion Weekend
will continued on Sunday with a picnic held in the Wilson High School quad
Why Attend?
It’s been forty years since we
graduated from high school. A lot has happened since then. We don’t look like
teenagers anymore, and we fortunately don’t think like teenagers anymore. We’ve
grown up.
The reunion weekend is a chance to
spend time with people who share similar memories and experiences. We were all “there”,
and we’re happy that you’re still “here.”
They say that you can never go back. Well, for just one
weekend, maybe you can.
